This one had it all - a tough job, a brutal sun, and one of the best skyline views in the city. We headed out to a residential property in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles (90063) to pull four heavy wooden raised planters off a rooftop deck. These things were big, built solid, and not going anywhere on their own. That's exactly where we come in.
The planters had clearly run their course. Weathered wood, dried-out soil, no longer serving the space the way the homeowner needed. Taking up a huge chunk of the deck and leaving the whole area feeling cramped and cluttered. The customer wanted the space back - and honestly, we don't blame them. A deck with that kind of DTLA view deserves to breathe.
Getting these out wasn't a quick task. Heavy, awkward pieces don't move themselves, and this wasn't a ground-floor situation. We worked through the heat, loaded everything onto the truck, and cleared the deck completely. That's the job. No shortcuts, no leaving pieces behind.
The after speaks for itself. A wide-open deck with a full, unobstructed view of the downtown Los Angeles skyline. String lights still hanging. Room to actually use the space now. That's the whole point of what we do with furniture and general rubbish removal - give people their space back without the hassle of figuring it out themselves.
Not every job is comfortable. The sun was relentless. But the result? Totally worth it. Whether you've got old planters, worn-out furniture, or just a pile of stuff that's been sitting too long, we handle the heavy lifting so you don't have to.
