Futon Removal in North Hollywood, Rain and All

A little rain never stopped us. We pulled up to a North Hollywood apartment complex, Apex Junk truck parked and ready, while the sky was doing its thing. The futon wasn't going to move itself, so we got to work.

Here's what we were dealing with - a full futon frame and mattress that needed to get out of an apartment hallway and down to the truck. Navigating narrow hallways with bulky furniture is one of those things that sounds simple until you're actually doing it. The wooden frame was disassembled and the mattress pulled out, both hauled through the corridor without scratching walls or making a mess of the building.

That hallway tells the whole story. Before we got there, it was blocked. After we were done, it was completely clear - clean floors, nothing in the way. That's exactly what furniture removal should look like.
